Bi-Annual Performance

A huge theatre concert is produced every other year at mid year and is open to ballet students from Pre Primary level – age 5 upwards. Every student performs on stage in a real theatre. They experience the backstage excitement and the thrill of performing with full stage lighting and make up. Each student is fitted with their own costumes, which they hire for a minimal rate.

Showcase is a fabulous opportunity for students to perform a range of dances for their family, friends and invited guests. This is where you as well as your family and friends can see the progress your dancer has made and how they have blossomed from a student to a performer.

These productions include well over 200 students and are of great enjoyment to all involved.

1995 Cinderella
When Cinderella’s cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from her Fairy Godmother.

1997 Coppelia
Coppelia a life size doll is replaced by young Swalinda who tricks the toy maker into thinking she is alive.

1999 Sleeping Princess
Princess Aurora is cursed by an evil witch, her and the entire kingdom fall under the spell. A prince is led to Aurora’s bedside and his kiss awakens her and the entire kingdom.

2001 Nutcracker
On Christmas Eve, a little girl named Clara falls asleep after a party at her home and dreams herself into a fantastic world where toys become larger than life. She meets up with the Nutcracker Prince who defends her from the Mouse King.

2003 Alice in Wonderland
Alice stumbles into the world of Wonderland. Will she get home? Not if the Queen of Hearts has her way.

2005 Little Mermaid
A mermaid princess makes a bargain with an unscrupulous sea witch in order to meet a human prince on land.

2007 Cinderella
When Cinderella’s cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from her Fairy Godmother.

2009 Peter Pan
An adaptation of J. M. Barrie’s story about a boy who never grew up. The three children of the Darling family receive a visit from Peter Pan, who takes them to Never Land, where an ongoing war between Peter’s gang of rag-tag runaways and the evil Pirate Captain Hook is taking place.
